Cos I Sine So!
It is no big secret that Math and I are as far
removed from each other as night is from day! But
today, I was looking at my tripod lamp and wondering
if I remember anything at all from my trigonometry
class in high school. You can imagine my utter
delight when I remembered:
Law of Sine
a / sin A = b / sin B = c / sin C
Law of Cosine
c2 = a2 + b2 – 2ab Cos C
Law of Tangents
(a – b) / (a + b) = tan [1/2 (A – B) ] / tan [1/2 (A + B) ]
I can't wait for Tapi and Anand to see this post! (Do you think they will be impressed?)
